Information You Submit
Search forms send the name, phone number, or address entered to the outside provider that returns sponsored results. We do not retain a separate copy of a search on our servers. A message sent to us contains only the details you choose to provide, and we use those details to answer it.
Information Collected Automatically
Our hosting systems create ordinary logs that can include an IP address, browser type, visited pages, and timestamps. We review aggregate activity to maintain the site and see which resources are useful. Cookies or comparable tools may support basic analytics and advertising measurement where used.
What We Do With This Data
We use this limited information to run the service, diagnose faults, measure overall traffic, and revise content. We neither sell a visitor list nor create individual user profiles.
Privacy on Linked Services
Links may lead to county and state offices, courts, libraries, archives, or outside search services. Their privacy terms control information submitted on their systems. That includes the third-party company responsible for sponsored search results.
Parties That Process Data
Hosting and support vendors process server logs for us. Analytics and advertising providers may receive the automatic information described above. We may disclose information when valid legal process compels it, but we do not otherwise distribute visitor data.
Safeguarding Information
An encrypted connection serves the site, and logs are retained only as long as needed for the uses stated here. Because visitors do not create accounts, the service stores no user password or account profile.
Visitors Under 18
The service is for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. Contact us if a minor appears to have submitted personal data so we can remove it.
California Privacy Rights
The California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, may provide rights to know, correct, or delete personal data held by a covered business. Since we hold little visitor information, a request usually involves checking the contact mailbox and server logs. Submit one through the Contact page. Public records maintained by Santa Clara County, a city, a California agency, or a court remain outside our control; requests concerning those records belong with the custodian. California residents may also use the state's DROP platform for requests to registered data brokers.
Policy Revisions
Any revised version will appear here. Continued use after an update signifies acceptance of the revised policy.
